J. Locke

Christian Hip Hop

Businessman J. Locke has had his share of life stories to tell. The NC native was raised in a small town and has always been more of a big picture type of guy. Although his first demo sent to Kedar Entertainment did not get him a record deal, it did get him notice as well as an opportunity to write for the label which at that time was home to Neo Soul Sensation Erykah Badu. J .Locke turned it down in pursuit of his own rap career and soon after signed to John Daul Management out of Brooklyn, NY. He was then noticed by Epic Records and offered the chance to be on the" Don’t You Forget It" remix with then new-comer Canadian Neo Soul artist Glen Lewis. After some back and fourth of what to do with his project and how to market him J. Locke was later notified that the label could not see a clear path moving forward with him. J. Locke was determined not quit and continued to
pursue his calling to make music and tour the country. After taking some time off and facing various personal bouts J. Locke decided to do what all great artist often do, he reinvented himself. Completely changing his life and the direction of his music all in one breath.

J. Locke's message and path had been made clear. Now a devout Christian, he began to make music for a starving audience and the timing was perfect. They lacked the kind of music that we all grew up on that was entertaining as well as nurturing to the soul. Not only could J. Locke share the lessons he learned through his personal journey but he realized that most of his fan base was also following the same path.

J. Locke's upcoming album, GOD SENT ME acts as a documentary of the transition he experienced as a lost soul living in the world to a child of God finding a home in the body of Christ. This journey allows J. Locke’s music to be transitional across gospel and secular genres.

LeJuane

Hip Hop Artists

Growing up Earnest "LEJUANE" Tart has faced many challenges, disappointments, and set backs from distant relationships with parents, and riding the sidelines of his peers.
Music ultimately played a vast roll in his life, with nowhere to turn Lejuane surrounded himself in the company of Hip hop, R&B, Gospel, Jazz and many other versatilities that would capture his originality.
During his early grade school years Lejuane often engaged himself in "freestyle" battles in which he used as a tool to retaliate on his antagonists, wowing close friends and onlookers with his display of "word play" diction, and keen flippancy, win or lose it was expected of him to "show up" and "show out".
Lejuane also took considerable interest in writing, mostly that of which he kept hidden behind the curtains of his "minds eye".
Lejuane sat and wrote many songs of his neighborhood and school crushes, problems at his home or school, and even more buoyant ballads he likes to refer to as "talking his trash".

During his highschool years after the fallout between Lejuane and his mother he went to go live with his father one neighborhood away from where he grew up, it was there he faced additional problems with transitioning into a new household, anger management, anxiety, and getting to know his father all over again since his parents divorce. Both (Lejuane and his father) did not always see eye to eye which usually resulted in conflict.
After almost two years of confusion and error Lejuane and his father had an alternation which resulted in him looking for a new home and various places to lay his head and although he had a short-lived era of bad choices, poor decision making and hoodlum activities, it was the very thing that introduced him to becoming a producer.
Lejuane turned to his childhood friend "Jeff" for a temporary place to live and it was there where Jeff taught him the basics of constructing a beat from the bottom up, they spent day and night writing lyrics and listening to instruments as well as instrumentals all in the act of perfecting their craft.

After Learning the basics of recording and composing, Lejuane felt unstoppable; With the basic knowledge of recording, composing and writing his own music with the help of his friend Jeff, Lejuane could now create his own world.
Lejuane continues to produce and compose his own music often story telling with his unique style, he still finds a way to keep it coming even after fallouts, multiple tragic losses of close friends and even theft of his valuable equipment.
One of his favorite quotes is "Everything happens for a reason",
And here's the Reason'..............  "Product of My Environment "   - Lejuane'.
